Oak Lawn trustees vote 4-2 to prohibit cannabis businesses

The board’s ordinance prohibiting cannabis businesses states officials “determined that the operation of cannabis business establishments would present adverse impacts upon the health, safety, and welfare of the Village and its residents, and additional costs, burdens, and impacts upon law enforcement and regulation operations of the Village.”
