Affordable luxury is the driving force behind this Lincoln Park spa, an intimate neighborhood escape rife with relaxing music, luxe linens and soft lighting. Here, client customization is king. Upon entry, guests are invited to complete a questionnaire to better inform therapists on treatment preferences, from music and lighting to temperature and pressure. That tailored approach extends to specific services, too, including their massage — a therapy now offered with the addition of pain cream from Cause + Medic, a line of all-natural, hemp-derived CBD products. After applying the cream to the client’s focus area for immediate relief, the therapist completes a full body massage with either CBD massage oil or body butter. “The products are targeted for pain relief, and they leave sore muscles feeling relaxed and soothed,” notes owner Paul Groshko. Post-session, retreat to the relaxation room, where zen tunes, hot tea and warm neck pillows await.
