Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (tcnnf)(ca:trul) said Wednesday it had net income of $14 million, or 12 cents a share, in the first quarter, down from $15 million, or 13 cents a share, in the year-earlier period. The Tallahassee, Fla.-based cannabis company said revenue rose to $96.1 million from $44.5 million. The FactSet consensus was for EPS of 11 cents and revenue of $91.8 million. The company opened three new stores in Florida in the period, ending the quarter with a network of 47 stores nationwide. The company said it has not experienced any “material” COVID-19 impact on its ability to serve patients and customers. U.S.-listed shares were not active premarket but have gained 13% in the year to date, while the Cannabis ETF (thcx) has fallen 24% and the S&P 500 (spx) has fallen 10%.
