OKC police investigate shooting deaths at cannabis business, Bricktown bar

Oklahoma City police are investigating two homicides that occurred Sunday morning and early Monday.  

Around 4:41 a.m. Sunday, police responded to Stability Cannabis at 1043 S Meridian Ave. in reference to a shooting. 

Police found one victim, identified as Jobe Bicksler, 39. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, police said. 

Bicksler had entered the business but was refused service, investigators said. He left and returned a short time later, but a security guard stopped him from entering.

Following a verbal exchange, Bicksler pulled out a knife and the security guard fired his weapon, striking Bicksler, according to police. 

The investigation is ongoing.

Fight in Bricktown leads to one dead

Around 12:56 a.m. Monday, police responded to a fight call near the Pink Parrot bar at 209 E Sheridan in Bricktown. 

Officers found two victims outside the bar. 

Conroy Williams Jr., 22, appeared to have been stabbed, according to police. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

It was the 32nd homicide in Oklahoma City this year.

A second victim, identified as Jeffery Michel, 25, who was suffering a gunshot wound, also was located outside of the bar, police said. He was reported to be in stable condition at a local hospital.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call 405-297-1200.
