Cannabis stocks erase earlier gains following House legalization

Yahoo Finance anchor Dave Briggs looks at how cannabis stocks are performing after legalization passes the House of Representatives.

[MUSIC PLAYING] DAVE BRIGGS: Welcome back. 3:12 Eastern time, and we’re watching cannabis stocks as we head toward the close. They are erasing earlier gains after the House approved the MORE Act, which decriminalizes marijuana at the federal level. The vote passed mostly along party lines. Three Republicans voted with Democrats. Legislation now moves to the Senate where it faces a very uncertain future. The last time similar legislation did pass the House back in 2020, it stalled in the Senate.
