WARE — The Planning Board on Thursday will convene a public hearing to consider request for a special permit from Pineapple Express, LLC to operate a marijuana delivery business.
The delivery business would be located at 124C West St., next door to marijuana dispensary Curaleaf.
The Dec. 15 hearing at Ware Town Hall is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
Records filed with the municipality show attorney Kaily S. Hepburn, Pineapple Express managing member, paid a $100 fee to the town for a site plan review, $250 for special permit application and notified 23 abutters about the hearing.
According to Cannabis Control Commission, state fees include $1,500 for marijuana delivery operator license application. The marijuana delivery operator license itself costs $10,000.
