Police in Santa Rosa are investigating a burglary at a cannabis distribution business that occurred early Thursday.

Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department responded at 3:46 a.m. Thursday to a business in the 3100 block of Coffee Lane after multiple motion detect alarm activations.

Responding officers discovered the front gate of the business had been forced open, and the front doors to the business had been pried open.

Investigators learned multiple cannabis products had been stolen from the business.

Police said security footage revealed four vehicles arrived outside the business at 3:40 a.m. and eight to 10 suspects exited the vehicles wearings masks that covered parts of their faces, as well as gloves and hooded sweatshirts.

The suspects then stole the items from the business and fled in the vehicles, police said.
