The Canvas Organics Dispensary is the first store in Albuquerque to take a chance delivering its product. The local dispensary says it’s only the beginning for the industry.

The delivery system is called “Priscotty.” It’s made its way to local dispensaries and is already making an impact.

“It’s going great, better than we thought actually,” said CEO of Priscotty, Scott Prisco.

“It really makes it convenient for our customers, especially ones with disabilities that maybe can’t make it to our stores,” said Billy Giron, a co-owner at Canvas.

Rodrigo Ramirez, another co-owner of the store said he was a little skeptical about the partnership, but says it’s been good for business.

“We signed a contract with him to see how it goes and so far Prisco has been doing pretty good,” Ramirez said.

On their website, people just need a valid photo ID or passport.

Prisco says Canvas was the perfect partner because this gives them a tool to use other stores may not have.

“Canvas saw it as an opportunity to offer a service that other dispensaries didn’t offer,” Prisco said.

“It’s catching on and I believe it’s going to get more and more popular,” Giron said.

Canvas said if people are interested in the delivery service, the only other thing they need to worry about is a $10 flat fee when ordering online. They deliver as far as Rio Rancho and anywhere within 15 miles of their store.
