In March of this year, Uplyfted participated as a sponsor at “Kiss Me, I’m a Cannababe,” an event held in Detroit by Cannababe, a women-owned company geared toward connecting women and members of the LGBTQ+ community within the cannabis industry while giving back to important causes. This memorable event – a cannabis-friendly celebration filled with music, art and food – brought together several small cannabis businesses to spread awareness about the importance of diversifying the industry. Uplyfted was thrilled to have the opportunity to support such an admirable mission and to do their part in helping ensure the industry has a level playing field.
June saw Uplyfted kick off their summer roster of events with “Meet.Connect.Puff” in Hazel Park. Uplyfted was a brand partner at this event held at Michigan’s first dedicated cannabis lounge Hot Box Social. The event helped further promote good vibes in the local industry, connecting up-and-coming brands with local suppliers and retailers. This was a special opportunity for Uplyfted to network and get to know their fellow purveyors while spreading the good word about what sets Uplyfted’s craft cannabis products apart.
But it’s not all business: Uplyfted has a presence at many more cool events this summer that bring fun for everyone! You can catch them all summer long at Lapeer Bike Night, a popular weekly event in that draws not only motorcycle enthusiasts but anyone looking for a fun Friday night hang including outdoor live entertainment. Lapeer Bike Night, which started on June 2, happens every Friday in downtown Lapeer from 6 p.m. ‘til dusk. You can find Uplyfted there alongside Lapeer’s local dispensaries Pure and Xplore Lapeer — stop by and say hi to the Uplyfted team and learn how they are raising the bar not only for cannabis, but for standards throughout their community.
Connoisseurs of cannabis and tacos alike were excited to see Uplyfted sponsoring one of the main music stages at this year’s Royal Oak Taco Fest. The Taco Fest is an annual all-ages celebration filled with food trucks, live music and lots of attractions, including fun-filled events like ax throwing and lucha libre wrestling! At this year’s Fest, which ran from June 30 to July 4, Uplyfted teamed up with Jars Cannabis to beam festival goers up to Planet Jars with interactive pop-up stations, filled with fun games, amazing photo opportunities, and out of this world experiences!
Uplyfted will also have a presence at the William Palmer Hommé charity basketball game, which is being held on July 11th at the Detroit Pistons Performance Center. The goal of the event is to raise money for local mental health and violence prevention programs.
