State regulators revoke a third cannabis license

State regulators this week revoked the license of Golden Roots, the third license revocation since July.

An Albuquerque cannabis business’ license was revoked and it was fined $298,972 for nearly a dozen violations, including moving illegal cannabis through the state’s track-and-trace system and improperly transporting cannabis.

That’s according to the state’s Cannabis Control Division, which regulates the legalized cannabis industry in New Mexico. The company, Golden Roots, does business as the Cannabis Revolution Dispensary, which has two storefronts in Albuquerque.
