WOODBINE — The borough’s Zoning Board will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Jan. 10 to consider a company’s request to open a cannabis business in a former bookbinding factory located in the airport business zone.
Seaweed Land LLC is seeking approval to operate a cannabis cultivation, manufacturing and retail facility in the 46,446-square-foot vacant factory at 1585 DeHirsch Ave.
The company is seeking variance relief for two building-mounted signs and three free-standing signs 20 feet high and 32 square feet in size.
The Zoning Board will only consider those specific requests at the hearing. Future hearings for site plan approval would be required.
The public is invited to attend the hearing, which will take place in main meeting room of Borough Hall at 501 Washington Ave.
