Business Bulletin Board: IDOT wins award; medical cannabis delivery service launched

The Illinois Department of Transportation received a regional honor in the America’s Transportation Awards for best use of technology and innovation for its Interstate 255 rehabilitation project in the Metro East. The competition was sponsored by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, AAA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

HELPING OUT

Purina announced a $25,000 grant to Greater Good Charities to help people and pets impacted by Hurricane Ida and flooding in Tennessee. Purina also worked with GGC to provide about 4,000 pounds of dog and cat food and 2,000 pounds of cat litter to help shelters and pet owners affected by the Dixie Fire in northern California.

Royal Banks of Missouri donated access to Banzai, an online financial literacy program, to teachers and students at seven schools in Missouri.

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

The Vandiver Group Inc. was acquired by Michigan-based Lambert and Co. Donna Vandiver, president & CEO of The Vandiver Group, will join Lambert as managing director and will continue to lead the St. Louis office.

Fairmont Village Credit Union of Fairmont, Illinois, is merging with GCS Credit Union, which serves 18 counties in Illinois.

Thompson Street Capital Partners acquired Vector Laboratories, the protein detection business unit of Maravai.

MassageLuXe, a massage and spa franchise, relocated its headquarters from Fenton to 16052 Swingley Ridge Road in Chesterfield.

Kadean Construction began construction of The Hutton, a three-story, 12-unit condominium building in downtown Kirkwood, for developer Savoy Properties.
